Germany's benchmark DAX index lose 6.6 points on Thursday

The benchmark DAX index at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Thursday lost 6.6 points.
The blue-chip index opened higher and eventually closed 0.06 percent lower at 11,779.39 points after some ups and downs. With the European Central Bank's quantitative easing program running, investors are confident that the rally will not end shortly, according to analysts.
K+S Aktiengesellschaft, a standard and speciality fertilizers company, rose substantially by 7.45 percent. Muenchener Rueck AG, a reinsurance company, advanced by 2.32 percent. Deutsche Telekom AG added 1.9 percent. Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA, a health care group, climbed by 1.43 percent and Henkel AG & Co. KGaA Vz, a laundry, home care and beauty care company, went up by 1.42 percent.
Deutsche Post AG dropped the most by losing 3.45 percent. Infineon Technologies AG, a semiconductor and system producer, lost 2.93 percent. Deutsche Lufthansa AG declined by 2.76 percent. The utilities company slipped by 2.03 percent and Continental AG was down by 1.54 percent.
The turnover stood at 4.6 billion euros (4.89 billion U.S. dollars ). Daimler AG was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 380.79 million euros. (1 euro = 1.06 U.S. dollars) Enditem
