Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) will simplify the energy export from the United States to the European Union (EU) despite no energy chapter inside this free trade agreement, U.S. Ambassador to the EU Anthony Gardner said Thursday.

Delivering a speech during a meeting held by think tank Bruegel, Gardner said the United States are not convinced there is a need for an energy chapter, but "we understand why the request has been made."

Before the next round of talks on TTIP, Gardner called upon all stakeholders from both sides to

pay efforts to finalize the free trade agreement. Endit
