1st LD: Unknown attackers kill at least 2 civilians in north Mali

Militants from unidentified group launched Sunday an attack on the northern Malian town of Kidal, where a UN MINUSMA force is based, killing at least two civilians, sources told Xinhua.

"One of the bombs hit a house in the town, and at least two people were killed," a resident of the town told Xinhua by phone.

Oliver Salgado, a MINUSMA officer confirmed the attack, adding the peacekeeping troops have had things under control. Endi
