Bremen match continues despite extremists warning

Werder Bremen's Bundesliga match with Wolfsburg won't change its schedule on Sunday despite Bremen police warning of danger posed by Islamic extremists in the city.

"There is currently no thought of a postponement," Werder chief executive Thomas Eichin said Saturday.

The police said security would be tightened in the city center and the airport due to potential activity from extremists.

More than 40,000 fans are expected to go to the Weser Stadium to watch Werder Bremen against second-placed Wolfsburg. Endi
