Pakistan sends aid to Afghanistan for avalanche

Pakistan sent relief goods on Saturday to the avalanche-hit people in Afghanistan, officials said.

Afghan officials say avalanche in Panjshir valley has killed nearly 250 people and displaced thousands others.

"To express solidarity with their Afghan brethren two C130 aircraft including were dispatched carrying relief goods for victims of avalanche hit areas of Panjshir province Afghanistan," an army statement said.

The relief items include tents, blankets, stoves, eatables like rice, meal ready to eat and medicines. Endi
