Pondexter lifts Pelicans over Nets

Quincy Pondexter scored a career-high 25 points to help the New Orleans Pelicans defeat the Brooklyn Nets 102-96 for their third win on Wednesday night.

Tyreke Evans had 15 points and 11 assists. Omer Asik had 12 points and 13 rebounds. Dante Cunningham added 13 points, Norris Cole finished with 11 and Alexis Ajinca grabbed 10 for the Pelicans.

Joe Johnson scored 21 points and Thaddeus Young added 19 for Brooklyn. Jarrett Jack had 15 points and Brook Lopez also scored 15 for the Nets. Endi
