Urgent: Normandy format ministers call for strict implementation of Minsk agreements

The ministers of foreign affairs of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine on Tuesday called for the strict implementation of all provisions of the Minsk agreements starting from a comprehensive ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons.

The joint statement follows a meeting of the "Normandy format" a week earlier.

The four ministers exchanged views on the implementation of ceasefire, with a special focus on Debaltsevo and the region of Mariupol, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said in a communique. Endit
