Vietnam's U23 squad trains ahead of 2016 Asia Champ's qualifier

Vietnam's Olympic football team was at the training camp in capital Hanoi on Tuesday to begin preparations for the upcoming 2016 Asian U23 Football Championship qualifiers, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

As scheduled, the squad will play three friendly matches with Japanese coach Toshiya Miura at the helm - Indonesia on March 9 in Hanoi, Uzbekistan on March 14 in southern Ho Chi Minh City, and Thailand on March 22 in Bangkok, said the VFF on its website on Tuesday.

They will also play against two local teams, the Hanoi - T&T on March 5, and Quang Ninh Coach on March 10.

On March 23, they will travel to Malaysia to attend the U23 Asia Champ's qualifier where they will compete in Group I together with Japan, Malaysia and China's Macao, said VFF. Endi
