1st LD Writethru: Greek reform list arrives in time, "Grexit" not on table: Eurogroup head

Xinhua, February 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

Greek reform list in return for a new bailout program reached creditors in time, said Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem on Tuesday.

Answering at a European parliament hearing meeting, Dijsselbloem said that "Grexit" is not on the table while Greek reform list would be under reviewing by international lenders, who would decide whether to issue new aid to the debt-stricken country.

"We are determined to stay together and improve monetary union," Dijsselbloem said, noting that only British government talked about Greece's exit of eurozone.

Eurogroup and Greece on Friday agreed on a final agreement over the bailout extension by four months, and such an agreement would ensure time for discussions on a possible follow-up arrangement between the Eurogroup, the institutions and Greece. Endi
