Urgent: Gold drops to lowest level in six weeks

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange fell sharply on Wednesday as traders became more confident that the Greek debt crisis would be resolved.

The most active gold contract for April delivery dropped 8.4 U. S. dollars, or 0.70 percent, to settle at 1,200.20 dollars per ounce,its lowest level since Jan. 5. Endite
