Nepal's deposed King Gyanendra Shah has asked the country's major political parties to implement the agreements they reached between him, a statement said on Wednesday.

In the press statement, the former King, for the first time, disclosed that he had reached some agreements with major political parties after the people's movement in 2006. The former King, however, has not disclosed the details of the agreements.

"I would like to remind that there had been agreements on the basis of consensus and basic values of democracy," the statement reads.

Nepal turned into a republic in 2008. Till now, the former king has not spoken about the agreements. Endi
