Spanish stock market rises 0.08 pct, closes at 10,698 points

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.08 percent on Tuesday to close at 10,698.00 points.

R.E.C. shares led rises climbing 1.46 percent, followed by BBVA and Iberdrola that rose 1.32 percent and 0.74 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Caixabank shares led falls losing 2.99 percent, followed by Indra A and Gas Natural that lost 1.96 percent and 1.95 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spanish risk premium stood at 122 points on Tuesday closing time and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.60 percent. The day was marked by the auction of the Spanish treasury, which placed 4.483 billion euros (5.107 billion U.S. dollars) on the market at lower interest rates. Endit
