Dollar trades in upper 118 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 118 yen range early Monday morning in Tokyo deals, little changed from its levels in New York last Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.63-64 yen compared with 118.65-75 yen in New York and 118.87-89 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.1397-1398 dollars and 135.21-22 yen against 1.1380-1390 dollars and 135.28-38 yen in New York and 1.1429-1431 dollars and 135.86-90 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endi
