Colombian Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah on Sunday won the men's doubles title in Brasil Open by defeating Italians Paolo Lorenzi and Argentine Diego Schwartzman 6-4, 6-2.

Brasil Open, part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour 250, is played in Brazil's city of Sao Paulo.

The Colombian won the final in one hour and four minutes after they finished runners-up in the previous edition.

Cabal and Farah reached the finals by beating Brazilians Marcelo Demoliner and Rogerio Dutra Silva, and their compatriots Nicolas Barrientos and Santiago Giraldo.

In the semifinal, Cabal and Farah defeated Brazilian Marcelo Melo and Austrian Julian Knowle, who were also favorites to win the doubles.

This is the third ATP title won by the Colombian, who will travel to Rio de Janeiro to play Rio Open, which they also won last year.

Brasil Open's singles winner will be decided between Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas and Italian Luca Vanni on Sunday. Endit
