Kishna brace helps Ajax to win over Twente

Ricardo Kishna scored twice to lead Ajax to a 4-2 victory over FC Twente on Sunday in the Dutch Eredivisie.

A header by Jesus Corona earned Twente an early lead in Amsterdam, but within the first quarter Ajax bounced back through a hard shot by Nick Viergever, on an assist by Kishna, and a smashing volley by 18-year-old Riechedly Bazoer. The latter scored his first Eredivisie goal.

Twente equalized through Hakim Ziyech five minutes after half-time, but than Kishna time arrived. The 20-year-old winger finished a cross by Anwar El Ghazi to give Ajax the lead again and secured the 4-2 victory after an assist by substitute Arkadiusz Milik.

Also on Sunday SC Cambuur beat sc Heerenveen 2-1 in the derby of the northern province of Friesland and PEC Zwolle suffered a 1-0 home defeat in their derby against Go Ahead Eagles. FC Utrecht booked their first win of 2015 against bottom side FC Dordrecht: 6-1.

Feyenoord lost 2-0 to Heracles Almelo on Saturday, while league leaders PSV beat AZ 4-2 in a spectacular encounter on Friday in Alkmaar. PSV booked their 10th league victory in a row and their 20th of the season.

PSV now lead the standings with 61 points from 23 matches, followed by Ajax (49), Feyenoord (41), AZ (41) and PEC Zwolle (39). Endi
