Benfica beats V. Setubal 3-0 in 21st round of Portuguese league

Benfica beat visiting V. Setubal 3-0 on Sunday night in the 21st round of the Portuguese league at the Luz Stadium in capital Lisbon.

The scoring was opened by Benfica's defender Jardel in the 9th minute and his teammate Lima added another 5 minutes before half time, before scoring again in the 71st with a header.

Benfica now stands at the top of the league with 53 points and maintains a four-point lead ahead of Porto while V.Setubal stands 14th with 19 points.

Also on Sunday, Maritimo beat Penafiel 4-3, Rio Ave drew 1-1 with Moreirense, Academica drew 0-0 with Boavista and Braga beat Arouca 2-0. Endi
