2nd LD: 4 killed, 46 injured in Pakistan's mosque attack

At least four people were killed and 46 others injured after a blast went off inside a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern Peshawar city on Friday afternoon, local media reported.
Dunya TV reported that an estimated five to six militants clad in security force uniform barged into a mosque of Shiite Muslims and opened fire at the people who were offering Friday prayers.
Talking to media, an eyewitness said there were around 800 people at the mosque when the militants threw hand grenades inside the prayer hall and later one of them blew himself up.
Contradictory reports were swirling over the remaining attackers.
Some reports said the attackers fled the scene following the attack, while others quoted eyewitnesses as saying that they remainded inside the mosque.
Officials have not confirmed any of the detail yet.
Heavy contingent of police reached at the blast site and cordoned off the mosque for search operation.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them were reportedly in a critical condition.
The incident happened at about 1:35 (local time) in Hayatabad area of Peshawar, the capital city of the country's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the blast and sought report from the concerned officials. Endi
