Urgent: U.S. dollar drops on weak economic data

The U.S. dollar lost against other currencies Thursday as the retail sales data of the country came out worse than expected.

In late New York trading, the euro moved up to 1.1414 dollars from 1.1297 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 118.86 Japanese yen, lower than 120.29 yen of the previous session. Endite
