A group of Swedish artists and musicians were selected to enter the Swedish Music Hall of Fame on Thursday, honoring their significant contributions to Swedish music.

This is the second group of artists that have entered Swedish Music Hall of Fame, and they are as follows: Jussi Bjorling, Neneh Cherry, Anders Burman, Peps Persson, Alice Babs, Ulf Lundell, Carola Haggkvist, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gullan Bornemark and Robyn.

The basic idea behind the Swedish Music Hall of Fame is to pay tribute to the diversity of the Swedish musical treasure and to build bridges between generations.

The selected must have debuted at least 20 years ago, and they are also honored with a permanent part of the Swedish Music Hall of Fame exhibition on Djurgarden, Stockholm.

Last February, the first group of Swedish music artists entered the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. The twelve outstanding groups and performers included world famous names such as pop pioneers ABBA, Ebba Gron and Roxette.

Swedish Music Hall of Fame is a musical gathering place dedicated to Swedish popular music. The house contains, among other things, exhibitions of Swedish popular music, the Hall of Fame and ABBA the Museum. Endit
