Australia rises 37 places as Germany tops rankings

Asian Cup winner Australia has advanced 37 places to 63rd in the world rankings which continued to be topped by Germany.

The latest rankings issued on Thursday saw Iran jump 10 places to 41st.

Germany totals 1,729 points, ahead of Argentina (1,534)

and Colombia (1,456), with Spain in 10th place.

African Nations Cup champion Cote d'Ivoire rose eight spots to 20th while the host of the African event, Equatorial Guinea, advanced 69 places to 49th. Endi
