Urgent: Ex-Korea Air vice president sentenced to 1-year jail term over "nut rage"

The former vice president of South Korean carrier Korean Air was sentenced to one year in prison on Thursday for violating the aviation safety law in a notorious "nut rage" incident.

Cho Hyun-ah, daughter of the airline's chairman Cho Yang-ho, ordered a flight from New York to Incheon, west of the South Korean capital of Seoul, on Dec. 5 to return to the gate after being served macadamia nuts in a bag, not on a plate. Endi
