French stock market index down 0.35 pct on Wednesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 experienced a decrease of 0.35 percent to close at 4,679.38 points on Wednesday, down 16.27 points.

Affected by the financial situation in Greece, the CAC 40 closed lower with 28 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease, while Danone stayed the same as previous trading day.

Wednesday's top three gainers were Gemalto, up 2.43 percent, Alcatel-Lucent, up 1.39 percent, and Bouygues, up 0.84 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Wednesday were Lafarge, down 2.04 percent, Technip, down 1.86 percent, and ArcelorMittal, down 1.68 percent.

In the previous trading day, CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.96 percent to close at 4,695.65 points, up 44.57 points. Endit
