DPRK's vice foreign minister visits Singapore

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)'s Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Ri Gil Song was in Singapore for a visit from Monday to Thursday, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday.

Ri met Masagos Zulkifli, Singapore's senior minister of state for foreign affairs and home affair on Tuesday, the ministry said in a statement.

They discussed bilateral cooperation between the DPRK and Singapore and exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the importance of lowering tensions and maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

Ri is also expected to meet with senior officials from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs during his visit to Singapore. He is on a regional visit to several Southeast Asian countries, the ministry said. Endi
