Xinhua, February 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

Myanmar Wushu players will take joint training in China for three months starting at the end of February, sources with Myanmar Wushu Federation Tuesday.

Ahead of the 28th SEA Games to be hosted by Singapore from June 5-16, altogether 17 players are currently under intensive training of local and Chinese coaches in Nay Pyi Taw.

After the three-month training in China, Myanmar wushu team will directly go and compete in the SEA Games.

"Myanmar Wushu team is mainly to compete with players from Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam at the SEA games and they are trying to achieve as many gold medals as they can," according to the federation.

Meanwhile, Myanmar Wushu team grabbed 15 medals including gold, silver and bronze at the 27th SEA Games hosted by Myanmar in 2013. Endi
