Xinhua, February 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

China and Russia strengthened cooperation in satellite navigation by holding the first meeting of the China-Russia Cooperation Program Committee on Satellite Navigation on Tuesday.

The meeting reviewed the two countries' collaboration in this area so far, set up several working groups and made plans for the future.

Both sides agreed that China-Russia cooperation will play an important role in the world's development of satellite navigation.

The committee was set up in accordance with the 18th meeting of the Joint Commission for the Regular Prime Ministers' Meetings of China and Russia in October 2014, and a memorandum signed between the China Satellite Navigation Committee and Russian Federal Space Agency. Endi
