Xinhua, February 9, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Chinese short track speedskating team left the German World Cup in Dresden without a title after the two-day event ended on Sunday.

The Chinese team took three bronze medals on the second day of the World Cup, bringing their medal collection to one silver and four bronze.

Fan Kexin came third in women's 500 meters following her second-place finish in Saturday's 1,000m race.

Italy's Arianna Fontana won the 500m title ahead of European champion Elise Christie of Britain. However, Fan's third place was enough to secure the overall 500m title.

South Koreans dominated the women's 1,500, with Shim Suk-hee finishing ahead of compatriot Kim A-lang. Tao Jiaying of China was third, ahead of American Jessica Smith.

Chinese men composed of Wu Dajing, Han Tianyu, Shi Jingnan and Chen Dequan pulled off a bronze in the 5,000m relay while the Dutch took the win and Hungary came second. Chen also had a bronze in the 1,500m on Saturday.

Russia's Dmitry Migunov won the men's 500m and his compatriot Semen Elistratov won the men's 1,500m.

Canada won the women's 3,000 relay final for its first relay victory of the season. Endi
