LME base metals rise mostly on Thursday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Thursday.

The rising oil prices lift most metal prices on Thursday. Brent crude oil futures rose 5.6 percent to 57.17 U.S. dollars per barrel during Thursday's trading session, data from BBC showed.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 1 U.S. dollars, or 0.02 percent, to 5,690 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 1.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.08 percent, to 1,882.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 10.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.57 percent, to 1,862 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 2 U.S. dollars, or 0.09 percent, to 2,143 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 37.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.25 percent, to 15,012.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 52.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.28 percent, to 18,922.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
