German DAX index slips slightly on Thursday

The benchmark DAX index at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Thursday fell slightly by 0.05 percent and closed at 10,905.41 points.

Steel giant ThyssenKrupp AG and fertilizer producer K+S Aktiengesellschaft topped the list of risers, both adding 1.44 percent. Volkswagen AG Vz advanced by 1.29 percent. The chemical group LANXESS AG and siemens AG went up by 1.21 percent and 0.67 percent respectively.

Bayer AG went down by 1.38 percent. Reinsurance company Munchener Rück AG slid by 1.15 percent. Utilities suppliers RWE AG St and E.ON SE lost 1.10 percent and 1.02 percent respectively.

Turnover stood at 3.70 billion euros (around 4.21 billion U.S. dollars). Daimler AG was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 501.82 million euros (around 572.07 million U.S. dollars). Endit
