Iceland sees trade surplus increase in Jan.

Iceland saw its balance of trade increased to a surplus of 61.3 million U.S. dollars in January from a surplus of 56.1 million U.S. dollars last December, Statistics Iceland said Thursday.

Preliminary figures show the value of exported goods amounted to 382.9 million U.S. dollars, while the value of imported goods amounted to 321.6 million dollars in January.

Compared with December 2014, the value of exported goods in January increased 5.4 million dollars, while the value of imported goods in January increased 0.2 million dollars. Endit
