Urgent: Hollande, Merkel to visit Kiev to fix Ukrainian crisis

French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel are due to fly to Kiev on Thursday afternoon in an attempt to produce a joint initiative on Ukraine acceptable to all amid rising tensions in the region, Hollande told reporters.

Hollande and Merkel are also expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday in Moscow.

Hollande also said that he would not support Ukraine's entry into NATO. Endi
