Six United Nations peacekeepers in Cote d'Ivoire died in a road accident that occurred along the road linking the North to the capital Abidjan, a UN source said Tuesday.

The vehicle carrying the peacekeepers veered off the road and plunged in a gully, killing all its six occupants, the source said.

The victims were all from the Egyptian contingent based in the central town of Yamoussoukro, the source added. Endi
