LME base metal prices rise on Tuesday

The base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Tuesday as oil prices rebound strongly.

Brent Crude Oil Futures prices rose 5.6 percent to 57.79 U.S. dollars per barrel during Tuesday's trading session, data from BBC showed.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 120 U.S. dollars, or 2.18 percent, to 5,637 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price went up 27.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.47 percent, to 1,893 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price rose 6 U.S. dollars, or 0.32 percent, to 1,861 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 21 U.S. dollars, or 0.98 percent, to 2,158 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price went up 62.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.41 percent, to 15,450 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 50 U.S. dollars, or 0.26 percent, to 18,950 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
