One of Nigeria's political party, the Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has adopted President Goodluck Jonathan as the candidate to support in the 2015 general elections on the party's platform.

Speaking in southwest Ogun state rally of the party on Saturday, Willie Obiano, the party's National Leader and Governor of southeast Anambra, said the incumbent President Jonathan remained the presidential candidate of the party in the general election.

He insisted that Jonathan was the only trusted candidate that could take the Nigeria to the greatest height.

The governor urged the people to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and come out en-mass to vote for Jonathan in the coming election.

Obiano said Jonathan was the only leader that could transform the country from its current situations.

Nigeria's electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission, has fixed Feb. 14, 2015 for the presidential election. The electoral commission has released a list of 11 presidential candidates for the election. Endi
