French stock market index up 0.44 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 rose 0.44 percent to close at 4,631.43 points on Thursday, up 20.49 points.

Affected by the oil sector, the CAC 40 closed with only a slight advance. At closing, 29 of the 40 selected companies gained advances.

Thursday's top three gainers were Unibail-Rodamco, up 2.97 percent, Legrand, up 2.15 percent, and Michelin, up 2.07 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Thursday were Technip, down 1.92 percent, ArcelorMittal, down 1.54 percent, and Total, down 1.44 percent.

On Wednesday, the CAC 40 experienced a decrease of 0.29 percent to close at 4,610.94 points, down 13.27 points. Enditem
