Albanian trade with Greece makes up 6.5 pct of overall volume

Albanian trade exchanges with Greece in 2014 constituted 6.5 percent of trade volume in total, according to data released by the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) of Albania on Wednesday.

After recording a decrease due to the Greek crisis, during 2014 there was a slight increase in trade exchange with its neighbor, Albanian telegraphic agency reported.

According to INSTAT, imports from Greece to Albania during 2014 amounted to nearly 52,044 million ALL (420 million U.S. dollars), while in 2013, imports were estimated at 45,699 million ALL.

Albanian exports to Greece rose to an estimated 8,844 million ALL, compared with 7,776 million ALL in 2013. (1 U.S. dollar = 124 ALL) Endit
