Four people were killed after a military helicopter crashed in Vietnam's southern Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City on Wednesday, local online VNExpress reported.

MANILA -- A top leader of the communist New People's Army (NPA) in Bicol region of the Philippines was nabbed on Tuesday, the country's military officials said on Wednesday.

BANGKOK -- Thailand's Criminal Court on Wednesday handed down a two-year jail sentence to Jatuporn Prompan, a former Pheu Thai MP and leader of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship, or "red shirts," for defamation.
