HK chief executive to visit Guangzhou, Shenzhen

Hong Kong Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying will visit Guangzhou and Shenzhen on Jan. 30 to call on officials, according to local government website on Wednesday.

Hong Kong's Chief Secretary Carrie Lam will lead a government delegation to Shenzhen to co-chair a meeting with the city's mayor Xu Qin. She will also accompany Leung to meet Communist Party of China (CPC) Shenzhen Municipal Committee Secretary Wang Rong after the meeting.

Hong Kong's Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Raymond Tam, Secretary for Education Eddie Ng, Secretary for Development Paul Chan and Director of Information Services Patrick Nip will accompany the chief executive.

Leung Chun-ying will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on Jan. 30, while Lam will return in the evening. Endi
