Indian stocks hits fresh all-time high in opening trade

The Indian stock market benchmark Sensex opened on a positive note for the eighth straight session on Tuesday led by gains in capital goods, auto and power sectors.

At 09:16 am local time, the 30-share index was at 29,338.43, up 59.59 points or 0.20 percent. It touched an all-time high of 29, 456.63 and a low of 29,338.05 in early trade.

Capital goods and infrastructure stocks are likely to be in action following India and the U.S. moved ahead towards commercial nuclear cooperation. Endi
