Spanish stock market rises 1.08 pct, closes at 10,696

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.08 percent on Monday to close at 10,696.10 points.

Abengoa "B" shares led rises climbing 6.24 percent, followed by Sacyr, Gamesa, OHL and Grifols that rose 5.77 percent, 4.52 percent, 2.93 percent and 2.86 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Bankinter shares led falls losing 0.20 percent, followed by DIA and R.E.C. that lost 0.10 percent and 0.04 percent respectively.

The day was marked by the general elections in Greece of Sunday and the victory of the radical left Syriza, which did not have a negative impact on the market.

Spanish risk premium stood at 99.50 points on Monday closing time and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.391 percent. Endit
