French stock market index up 0.74 pct on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.74 percent to close at 4,675.13 points on Monday, up 34.44 points.

Investors had anticipated the victory of the SYRIZA party in Greece's election, so it didn't affect the CAC 40. By closing, 31 of the 40 selected companies gained advance.

Monday's top three gainers were ArcelorMittal, up 2.08 percent, Bouygues, up 2.07 percent, and Capgemini, up 2.03 percent.

The three companies which lost most on Monday were Credit Agricole, down 0.89 percent, Sanofi, down 0.75 percent, and Alstom, down 0.59 percent.

In previous trading day, Jan. 23, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 1.93 percent to close at 4,640.69 points, up 87.89 points. Endit
