Indonesia conveys condolence over Saudi king's death

Indonesia conveyed its deepest condolence on the death Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Bin Abdul Azziz Al Saud, a statement released by Indonesia's Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Friday. "The Saudi Arabia people and the world would feel great loss with the passing of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Azziz Al Saud. The late King Abdullah Bin Abdul Azziz Al Saud is well known as a figure that brings about reform and welfare for kingdom of Saudi Arabia,"the statement said.

Indonesia would pray for God's forgiveness and peace for the late King Abdullah.

Saudi Arabia is an important partner of Indonesia in Middle East region, it said.

King Abdullah died at 90 in Riyadh after suffering from lung infections. He has ruled the largest oil exporter country since 2005.

He would be replaced by his 79 year-old brother Salman. Endi
