Urgent: Gold rebounds as ECB launches bond-buying program

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rebounded on Thursday as the European Central Bank launched officially a multi-billion euro bond-buying program.

The most active gold contract for February delivery rose 7.0 U. S. dollars, or 0.54 percent, to settle at 1,300.70 dollars per ounce. Enditem
