Vietnam warm up for 2016 AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers

Vietnam U-23 football team will face Indonesia U-23 and Uzbekistan U-23 in late February to prepare for the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) on Tuesday.

Vietnam U-23 were drawn in Group I along with Japan, Malaysia and Macau.The team will play the group opener against Malaysia on March. 27, and then face Japan and Macau on March. 29 and March. 31 respectively.

AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers attract 43 teams drawn in 10 groups. Group winners and five best runners-up can advance to the finals, which will be held in Qatar early next year. Endi
