Defending Champion Japan won all three group matches to face United Arab Emirates in the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup, after beating Jordan 2-0 here on Tuesday.

Keisuke Honda opened the scoring in the 24th minute, Shinji Kagawa scored his first goal in the tournament to clinch the victory for Japan

No chance for Jordan as the Japanese side maintained a more than 70 percent ball possession. Keisuke Honda netted easily after Shinji Okazaki's long range shot deflected by Jordan's keeper in the 24th minute. Shinji Kagawa added another by converting Yoshinori Muto's cross just 10 minutes before the final whistle.

Toping Group D, Japan will face United Arab Emirates, who is the runner up of Group C in the quarterfinals.
