Twenty-three universities and colleges in China's Guangxi province jointly held on Monday a one- day education exhibition here to promote their schools and curriculums to Cambodian students.

The fair was held at the Beltei International University under the presence of Cambodian Education Secretary of State Pith Chamnan and Lin Ning, inspector general of the Guangxi Provincial Department of Education. "The fair is not only to introduce Chinese universities to Cambodian students, but also to further enhance education relations between China and Cambodia,"Lin Ning said.

Pith Chamnan said the event clearly reflected the progress in education sector in Cambodia and good education ties between Cambodia and China. "Through the fair, I hope that some Cambodian students will choose Chinese universities for their higher education,"he said.

At the event, the Beltei International University signed cooperation agreements with two universities -- Guangxi University for Nationalities and Guangxi University of Foreign Languages, according to Ly Chheng, rector of the Beltei International University. Endi
