Singapore stocks close 0.21 pct higher

Singapore stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 7.02 points, or 0.21 percent, to close at 3,307.70.

A total of 1.17 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 897.2 million Singapore dollars (679.7 million U.S. dollars).

The STI index lost 38.16 points, or 1.14 percent, to close at 3, 300.68 on Friday. Endi
