Poland's prices in December 2014 drop 1 pct year-on-year

Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) informed on Thursday that the prices in Poland in December 2014 dropped 1 percent in comparison with December 2013, the lowest level of inflation since 1972.

The prices of goods and services in December 2014 fell by 0.3 percent in comparison with the previous month.

According to GUS, most important factors affecting the inflation level in December were lower transport, clothing and shoe prices.

Accommodation fees, prices of alcohol and tobacco grew, while clothing, shoes, food and non-alcoholic beverages, transport fees fell. Endit
