Afghanistan's national soccer team will hold a training camp here in the Tajik capital from Jan. 21 to 27, Tajikistan's Football Federation (TFF) said on Tuesday.

The country's soccer team will play several friendly matches during the camp.

Afghanistan is preparing the match against Pakistan to be held in Islamabad on Feb. 6.

Formed in 1922 and affiliated to FIFA since 1948, the Afghanistan Football Federation, also known as the Lions of Afghanistan, was one of the founding members of the Asian Football Confederation in 1954. Endi
