Dollar trades in lower 118 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 118 yen range early Tuesday in Tokyo deals, little changed from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.31-33 yen compared with 118.32-42 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Monday. Financial markets in Tokyo were closed Monday for a national holiday.

The euro fetched 1.1831-1831 dollars and 139.99-140.00 yen against 1.1829-1839 dollars and 140.00-10 yen in New York late Monday afternoon. Endi
