One has been confirmed dead in a South Korean display panel factory's nitrogen leak incident, Yonhap News Agency reported Monday.

The gas was leaked for unidentified reasons at about 12:50 a.m. local time at a display panel plant owned by LG Display, leading South Korean flat screen maker.

The factory is located in Paju, some 40 km northwest of capital Seoul. Endi
